Recently, on Craftgawker I saw this post, but wasn’t sure what to do with it.
But then I had the idea to make a hanging mobile!
Here’s what you need:
- Mod Podge
- String / Thin thread
- Sticky tape
- Craft knife
- Embroidery hoop, or hoop of some kind
Go to the above link and download the pdf
Print out 4 big donut templates (a4) and 3 mini donut templates (a5)
Cut all the templates out, cutting the inside holes with a craft knife
Take each template and draw a dot where the string will be attached.
Thread the string through the eye of the needle and pierce the hole. Tape to the inside with sticky tape.
Assemble the donuts by sticking the tabs together with Mod Podge. I recommend ‘icing’ side down.
Tie the string from the donuts evenly spaced around the hoop. Make sure the strings are at varying heights.
You are complete. Enjoy hanging your donut mobile. Its sure to make you hungry!
All rights go to http://www.minieco.co.uk. I’m just using their awesome idea!
Recently, I have been looking at advertisements for my Media Studies class, and one of the assignment was to find you favourite ad.
Finally after a lot of careful wording, I finally found the 1234 – sock ads.
They were always my favourites!
Does anyone else remember these?
I realise people from other countries may not recognise them, as the are for the Australian brand, Telstra.
Even so, i think they are quite witty and cute.

Recently, i have had, and searched for, a lot of inspiration for my paintings and drawings.
One of the best I’ve found has been Long Blue Straw.
Her work is amazing and inspirational!

Merry Christmas Everyone!
Wow, Christmas was great this year!
I’m sorry this post is a day late, but we hosted lunch and dinner this year, and things were a bit hectic.

I have been interested in typography recently, and so have been searching for some ideas.
The best site I have found is Type Hype.
Here is some of her work.
You can also see some of my typography at this post.
Christmas is coming! Yay.
So, naturally I thought it best that I make some ornaments for our Christmas tree, along with some nice pictures.
